Reading scores for Alabama third graders for the 2021-22 school year were released Tuesday. This is the first look the public has gotten at school-level reading scores since the state’s high stakes Literacy Act passed in 2019.
Results show a range of reading proficiency levels across Alabama schools: Between 32% to 100% of third graders reached proficiency.
Officials published a school-by-school look at reading scores, which can be seen here.
