State high school association signs for assigning product

ArbiterSports, the established leader in athletic management, announced that it has created a partnership with the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) to provide ArbiterOne, its officiating assigning product, to all IHSA designated assigners free of charge for assigning IHSA governed events. One of the core objectives of the new partnership is to help coordinate information sharing between hundreds of assigners, leagues, teams and officials, allowing everyone throughout the state to control their information and share it with those that need it.

“This relationship will enable our schools and assigners to get a complete view of all of our IHSA registered officials including their availability, contact information and pictures, plus the ability to make game/match assignments,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson. “We look forward to providing the service free of charge to all of our schools and assigners responsible for assigning IHSA registered officials to IHSA governed events.”

With ArbiterOne, IHSA member schools and assigners can improve communication and assigning efficiency with the ability to send out frequent, organized communication to officials by email and text, anticipate and prevent scheduling conflicts and cancellations, allow officials to manage assignments and post their availability through a centralized portal, and get real-time access to schedules and assignments.

“ArbiterSports has a long history of serving assigners and schools in Illinois, and we’re thrilled to partner with IHSA and provide the benefits of ArbiterOne to all IHSA designated assigners,” said ArbiterSports President and CEO Jeff Triplette. “The ability to disseminate information efficiently to participating officials is a common request in every state, and IHSA has been at the forefront of addressing this issue in Illinois.”

In addition to communicating with officials, assigning organizations need to be able to evaluate the performance of assigned officials on a regular basis. With ArbiterOne, all IHSA designated assigners will be able to easily and automatically generate evaluation reports that track and monitor their assigned officials performance and reliability.

“The ArbiterSports assigning product ArbiterOne promises to take the manual labor out of assigning and make the job easier for everyone involved in our state,” added Anderson.
