The EPISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously in a 7-0 vote Tuesday to allow the superintendent to begin the termination process for a Franklin High School teacher.
That teacher was recorded telling students to refer to pedophiles as “MAPs,” or minor-attracted persons.
A video that surfaced last week revealed a Franklin High School teacher the district identified as Amber Parker, saying, “Stop calling them that. Stop it. We’re not going to call them that. We’re going to call them MAPs. Minor-attracted persons. So don’t judge people just because they want to have sex with a five-year-old.”
