The Columbus Board of Education reached a conceptual agreement with the Columbus Education Association Thursday morning.
Teachers won’t be hitting the picket lines Thursday morning but instead getting ready to welcome students back into classrooms.
Thursday would have been the fourth day of the teacher’s strike in Columbus.
The negotiations began Wednesday afternoon as teachers were on the picket lines. Wednesday was also the first day back for the school year with CCS students learning virtually.
The bargaining played out in an undisclosed location for more than 14 hours, ending around 2:30 a.m.
