Addressing Unfinished Learning: Building a Continuity of Learning Plan in Mathematics

Date of broadcast: Tue, 06/30/20
Recent studies suggest that COVID-19 school closures, coupled with the seasonal summer slide, will result in students returning to school in fall 2020 with less than 50% of the mathematics learning gains and in some grades, nearly a full year behind. Join us for this interactive session, as we discuss how to maintain learning gains, mitigate learning loss, and plan for Fall Re-entry, as well as review effective models in transitioning seamlessly between “brick and mortar” and virtual learning.

Using AI tools, real time formative assessment data, machine learning and predictive analytics, Dr. Justin Aglio, Director of K-12 Innovation for the Montour School District in Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Learning will facilitate a discussion addressing unfinished learning for all students.

Scheduled speakers:

Dr. Justin Aglio
