The Biden-Harris administration’s goals for K-12 education and COVID-era leadership strategies top the bill on day three of the Future of Education Technology Conference® 2021.
“We can’t just replicate what we did face-to-face and hope it works online,” says Gunter ISD Superintendent Jill Siler, who will kick the day off with her keynote, “Thrive Through the Five: Transforming Leadership Challenges Into Positive Opportunities.”
COVID has given renewed attention to education funding, particularly around issues of equity and school infrastructure, says education attorney Julia Martin, who talk about Biden’s education policies in the day’s second keynote, at 2 p.m.
The day will conclude with Future Ready Schools Brianna Hodges and Thomas Murray deliver the 4:45 p.m. keynote on lead and coaching in all education environments.
All the speakers will participate in live Q&A sessions after the keynotes.
Beyond the keynotes, attendees can attend thought leader and solution provider sessions covering topics such as school funding, IT asset management and active learning.
