Date & Time: Thursday, August 8th at 2 pm ET

In a 2022 EdWeek Research Center study, 29% of teachers and administrators said that “curiosity and motivation” were strong evidence that students were engaged with a program, second only to “learning gains” (35%). However, state standards haven’t defined outcomes explicitly related to curiosity.

In this webinar, district administrators dedicated to prioritizing engagement, motivation, and persistence will provide guidelines in this regard by exploring methods for nurturing curiosity and examining outcomes for all students.

***Attendees will be able to safely download “Rubrics for Observing and Assessing Four Curiosity Traits” for student self-reflection and growth by speaker Dr. Tim Hudson, Ph.D.

Attendees will discover:

  • How to measure four levels of curiosity through questioning, skepticism, interest, and mindset for all students
  • How AI has been impacting student curiosity and what districts can do to adapt
  • What brain research reveals about the relationship between curiosity and engagement
  • New curiosity activities and resources to share with their team to inspire curiosity
