District and school leaders have a responsibility to detect, manage, and respond to any emergency or crisis as quickly as possible. Having current and up-to-date safety plans—including training, resources, communications, data, and technology—is critical to school security.
Attend this webinar to learn current best practices and strategies to improve any school safety plan. The expert panel will include Max Schachter, who lost his son in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in 2018, and founded Safe Schools for Alex, an advocacy organization with a mission to provide the most current safety best practices and resources to school districts.
Additional panelists include district leaders from the Center Grove Community School Corporation (Ind.) and the Albuquerque Public Schools, who will discuss their school safety initiatives and the strategies they have used to improve their districts’ proactive and reactive responses to emergencies.
