The Case for Computer Science: Equipping Students and Teachers with Future-Ready Skills

Learning computer science is vital to the future readiness of K-12 students, according to a professor at Rowan University in New Jersey.

“Not everyone will be a computer scientist, but everybody is going to be interacting with computers,” says Jennifer Kay, Ph.D. “We need to develop students’ ability to employ computational thinking skills that allow them to break down problems, so computer scientists can efficiently solve them.”
