December 10, 2018

Rosemead School District’s new superintendent is Alejandro Ruvalcaba. He most recently served as assistant superintendent in charge of human resources at the Upland USD. Ruvalcaba replaces superintendent Amy Enomoto-Perez, who had been with the district since 1981 and served as superintendent since 1999.

After nearly six months of searching, the Rosemead School District board has a new superintendent.

Alejandro Ruvalcaba took over as superintendent Thursday. He most recently served as assistant superintendent in charge of human resources at the Upland Unified School District.

Ruvalcaba also served as assistant superintendent for secondary education in Upland and principal at West Covina High School in the West Covina Unified School District.
