New Lenox District 122 chooses new superintendent

District 122 has chosen its next superintendent. At the board of education meeting on Sept. 17, the board approved a 3-year contract for Dr. Lori Motsch.

Current superintendent Peggy Manville will retire on June 30, 2020.

According to a message from Manville, Motsch will assume the role of superintendent on July 1, 2020. Motsch started as a kindergarten teacher at Schmuhl School 24 years ago. She has served as an assistant principal, principal, and most recently as Director of Personnel for District 122.
