Cellphones banned at Middletown SD for 2022-2023 school year

One Hudson Valley school district is announcing a new policy for the fall – no cellphones.

The Enlarged City School District of Middletown is setting this strict policy for the 2022-2023 school year.

This policy will be in place for all K-12 Middletown school campuses.

According to Superintendent Amy Creeden, cellphone use will not be permitted at any time during the school day. This includes no use during lunch, during passing times and during study halls.
