Since taking over the superintendency at Aldine ISD in Texas, LaTonya Goffney’s district has added PreK for 3-year-olds, a dual-language program, two Accelerated Campus Excellence Schools, two single-gender schools, and launched Additional Days School Year campuses. In January, she announced the addition of the HEAL (Health Education and Learning) Program, to open in fall 2024.
