Union-Endicott school board names new superintendent

On Tuesday, the Union-Endicott Central School District’s Board of Education voted unanimously to enter contract negotiations for a new superintendent.

Nicole M. Wolfe, the district’s current assistant superintendent for business and elementary education, will begin her new position as superintendent on July 1. She replaces the district’s current superintendent, Suzanne McLeod, who will assume a new position in Binghamton University’s Education Leadership program in the fall.

“Nicole possesses the proven leadership skills and passion for education that we believe will be critical to guiding our district through the years ahead,” board President Dick Testa said in a statement.
