Dorrell Green has been selected as the next superintendent for the largest school district in Delaware.
The Red Clay school board voted on Wednesday night to start negotiating a contract with Green, now the former director of the Office of Innovation and Improvement for the Delaware Department of Education.
The administrative position oversees a district with more than 17,000 students.
