People Watch: South Carolina school district hires Frank Rodriguez

Frank Rodriguez, currently the regional superintendent for the School District of Palm Beach in Florida, is scheduled to move to South Carolina and start as the Beaufort County School District‘s new superintendent on July 1. He will replace interim Superintendent Herb Berg, who has served in the position since June 2018. Read more.

Todd Sanders, who has served as principal of Maine’s Gardiner Regional Middle School for 11 years, has been hired as superintendent of the state’s School Administrative District 58. He will replace Superintendent Susan Pratt, who is retiring. Read more.

Brian George started at New York’s Abraham Wing School, more formally known as the Glens Falls Common School District, nearly 15 years ago. Currently the principal of the state’s Hartford Middle-High School, his return to the Glens Falls district as superintendent is a homecoming. Read more.
