Despite FAFSA's importance, one quarter of students don't complete it. A new report from the National Center for Education Statistics provides some context for why that is, with reasons ranging from the students' perception that they may not qualify for financial aid to the perception that the forms and application process are too burdensome to concerns about debt.
The Indian Creek High School Tech Tribe of 10 students is tasked with solving other students' Chromebook issues. Each member of the tech tribe receives credit for an elective class, and one can earn college credit in computer science. These students also work on coding and other computer curriculum when they are not helping their peers and teachers.
