An assistant football coach for a high school in El Mirage, Arizona, is in trouble with the law over accusations that he committed sex acts with a student on campus. Twenty-four-year-old Nathan Jellicoe was arrested on Tuesday on the Dysart High School campus. Police said school officials called them after they learned of “inappropriate conduct” between Jellicoe and a 16-year-old student.

His role as a security guard got him in close contact with the victim, detectives said. Investigators said the sexual acts happened on campus between Oct. 4 and Tuesday, but they don’t know exactly where. “It’s troubling,” said El Mirage Police Lt. Tim Mason

Police said there were text messages between the girl and Jellicoe and other students found out about the sexual relationship and reported it to school officials.
