bulb Digital Portfolios announced the renewing of its partnership with Future Ready Schools (FRS). The collaboration aims to deepen the support offered to school leaders and educators to modernize learning and better prepare students for a future workforce of increasingly creative, complex and entrepreneurial demands.
By signing the Future Ready Schools pledge, district leaders in more than 3,200 school districts have pledged to modernize learning for 19.2 million students. As the sole sponsor of the FRS Leadership Institute Instructional Coaches strand, bulb Digital Portfolios will play an integral role in the continued success of such efforts.

Future Ready Schools Leadership Institutes support the efforts of committed school districts to organize around the Future Ready framework, a research-based framework that emphasizes collaborative leadership and innovative school culture. The fall Institutes announced recently are open and free to education teams across the United States. Efforts will be specialized by “strand,” with bulb’s unique focus dedicated to Instructional Coaches.
“Students need tools that infuse the work they are doing today with meaning and merit, while also expanding their scope of the future and helping them prepare for it,” said Jodie Buenning, vice president of marketing and communications at bulb Digital Portfolios. “Creating this learning experience starts with thinking differently about technology’s role in education. This is the goal of the Future Ready Schools initiative and why we’re delighted to support such important work.”
These FRS Leadership Institute events will help instructional coaches to:
- Build capacity to design and model sound pedagogical practices
- Nurture a culture of innovation for teachers to personalize learning for students
- Advocate for education infrastructure that ensures equitable access to connectivity, digital devices, information, resources, programming and services for all students in support of the district’s strategic vision
- Encourage educators to connect and collaborate
