When Elijah Majocha begins studying political science as a college freshman this fall, he’ll be learning with some firsthand experience running for public office.
At just age 18, Mr. Majocha could become one of Pennsylvania’s youngest elected officials. During Tuesday’s primary election, the soon-t0-be high school graduate earned a nomination on the Highlands School Board.
Mr. Majocha, a Highlands High School senior, ran against Misty Chybrzynski Woody and incumbents Laura Butler and Kristie Babinsack.
