Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey will introduce a $9.35 billion education budget for FY25, Finance Director Bill Poole told lawmakers during a joint legislative budget hearing in Montgomery Tuesday.
That is a 6.25% increase – the largest amount allowed by law – over the current year’s $8.8 billion.
