Horton led the financial turnaround of Minnesota’s GFW Public Schools, where he became superintendent in 2020 after a series of failed referendums. He restored trust by sharing the district’s story and engaging all members of the community. He is now a DA Leader of Distinction and superintendent of SouthWest Metro Intermediate District 288, which provides services and resources to 17 member districts.
