Analysis of Southern U.S. Students Using Prodigy Shows Significant Gains on State Standardized Math Tests
Math achievement remains a priority for districts working to strengthen student outcomes through evidence-based digital learning. This study provides quantitative insights into how Prodigy usage and performance correlate with math success.
In this correlational study, grade 4 students in the southern U.S. who used Prodigy during the 2018–19 school year scored 3–5% higher on state standardized math tests than peers with lower engagement levels. Students who improved their accuracy on Prodigy’s test-prep questions also demonstrated up to 5.1% higher scores on the state math assessment.
