This Maine school desperately needs repairs. Residents are suing to stop them.

Voters in the Boothbay region approved a $30 million bond in April that would address much-needed repairs. But a group of Boothbay residents has since intervened and put those repairs in jeopardy.

An old Maine school could become housing for new teachers

Maria Libby, the superintendent of MSAD 28 and the Five Towns CSD, said the district is pursuing a plan to eventually convert the school building into as many as 10 apartments for teachers coming to the district from other states or towns.
