Additional state aid could be available to more than 100 New Jersey school districts facing budget cuts, under a plan moving through the state Legislature.
The legislation, A4161, would provide an additional $71.4 million to soften some of the cuts in Gov. Phil Murphy’s proposed state budget. The legislation to add additional school aid was approved by the state Assembly Education Committee Friday.
