With the last few winter storms bringing snow, ice and low temperatures, there have been several days where schools have closed down due to inclement weather.
The decision to close school due to weather is not one superintendents take lightly, said Huron Intermediate School District Superintendent Dr. Nancy Lubeski.
“Huron County superintendents closely collaborate when deciding to close schools for the day,” Lubeski said. “Due to safety being a top priority, we carefully consider the safety of every student and staff member with the current weather conditions.”
