Here’s a look at one of the Top Ed Tech Products of 2020:

SAFARI Montage LOR Cloud

SAFARI Montage

What it is: SAFARI Montage provides K-12 districts with an interoperable Learning Object Repository (LOR) designed for in-person and engaged remote instruction. The platform offers teachers and students equitable access to procured, created, and curated educational digital resources and a place to search and manage learning objects and create playlists to feed an LMS and other enterprise systems. Features include federated search access to content from multiple sources via one interface, including Google Drive & Microsoft OneDrive; integrations with Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams and all of the leading LMSs, as well as conferencing platforms Zoom, Google Meet and Teams; the ability to easily add digital course and lesson learning objects from 30+ educational publishers to the LOR.

Why we like it: It connects a Learning Object Repository from a variety of educational publishers with a district or school’s LMS. It allows teachers, students, and administrators to store, search, access, share and manage district created, free curated, and procured digital resources. It also offers a video streaming library and IPTV & live media streaming. And as the name suggests, it’s hosted in the cloud, meaning no physical hardware is required inside the district.

As always, we encourage you to perform your own due diligence before making any investments.
