Science teachers in several Madison County, Ind., area districts have used resources from NASA, supplemental lesson plans, games and other methods to help their students appreciate and learn from the eclipse.

The state rejected a school board's dismissal of Nelson County Schools Superintendent Wes Bradley, saying in a written statement that there wasn't "competent and relevant evidence" supporting at least one of the charges against him.
