EmpowerED superintendents broadcasts
EdWeb.net launched Season 9 of the CoSN/AASA EmpowerED Superintendents edLeader Panel Broadcasts on Sept. 14, with “Leading and Sustaining Technology Innovations in Today’s School District Settings.”
The Oct. 5 broadcast, “Current Education Technology Hurdles, Accelerators, and Enablers: CoSN’s 2026 Driving K-12 Innovation Report,” features Dr. Doug Brubaker, superintendent, Chesapeake Public Schools, Virginia; Dr. Karen Cheser, superintendent, Durango School District, Colorado; and Glenn Robbins, superintendent of the Brigantine Public School District, New Jersey.
The panelists will be joined by Laura Geringer, project director for CoSN’s Driving K-12 Innovation Initiative and EdTech Innovation Committee. Registration is free. A recording will be available after the live broadcast.
Support for continuing E-Rate
The FCC is expected to rule in mid-October on whether to continue E-Rate funding. CoSN encourages school leaders to express their support for E-Rate by Oct. 13. Check this free guide for filing comments with the FCC.
