A substitute teacher and head volleyball coach at a Carroll County high school was charged with distributing child pornography through Snapchat, law enforcement officials said.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that Evan Thomas Harris Frock, 32, of Taneytown, was charged with four counts of inducing a minor to produce child pornography and eight counts of possession of child pornography, among numerous other charges. He is currently being held without bond at Carroll County Central Booking and is awaiting a bail review hearing scheduled for Wednesday. No attorney was listed for Frock in online court records.
Frock worked as a long-term substitute teacher and head varsity volleyball coach at Westminster High School. It’s believed he may have been associated with other schools and athletic businesses in the Baltimore region, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators are working with school officials and the Carroll County Board of Education to identify additional victims.
The sheriff’s office said that between April 2021 and October 2021, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received Cybertipline Reports that Frock had distributed files of child pornography through Snapchat.
