Here’s a look at one of the Top Ed Tech Products of 2020:
AllHere AI Chatbot
What it is: Chronic absenteeism is a problem in American education during the best of times, but now, with the vast majority of the nation’s school buildings and lessons being conducted remotely, more students than ever are missing class – not logging on, not checking in or not completing assignments. AllHere offers schools and districts a proven, scalable, AI-powered, two-way text messaging program to reverse chronic absenteeism and help students & families build a strong foundation in attendance, engagement, and success. AllHere for students in grades 9-12 and families in grades K-12 is designed to guide families and students through a personalized series of campaigns that meets their specific needs, helping them master attendance and engagement with built-in conversational support, using a chatbot, and real-time intervention.
Why we like it: It is very timely given remote and hybrid learning. An interesting approach to engagement and keeping kids on task. Seems very innovative. The case studies they provide support its effectiveness. Truancy is a costly issue to districts, and a major issue during COVID. The AI learns over time and the system is available 24/7. When the bot identifies a “priority” topic or doesn’t know the answer, questions are sent to the human team.
As always, we encourage you to perform your own due diligence before making any investments.
