Gaston County Schools officials released the first round of principal appointments and transfers ahead of the 2025-26 school year.
So far, four principal transfers and one principal appointment have been announced.
Justin Beam, the current principal at North Belmont Elementary School, will be transferred to serve as the principal at Sherwood Elementary School.
