Chart: Regulatory agenda for 2022-23 includes FERPA, assessment, 504 rules

The U.S. Education Department plans on finalizing rules related to Impact Aid and the Uniform Grants Guidance by the end of the year, according to the Agency Rule List — Spring 2022. The department recently released proposed Title IX regulations and anticipates publishing proposed FERPA regulations in August.

The department is also working on proposed rules for the Innovative Assessment Demonstration Authority, Rural Education Achievement Program, Impact Aid, EDGAR, and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment, as well as other civil rights provisions.
