Jim Vidak has served educators, administrators, students and their families as the leader of Tulare County education for seven terms.
Over that time, he has seen the county’s student population grow by more than 30,000, has overseen tens of millions of dollars in grants, has won numerous awards and has helped create life-changing programs.
Today, his work as superintendent of schools comes to a close as he bids farewell to his 28-year position.
