Administrators, want to become an edtech savant? Register for FETC 2023

This January in New Orleans, school leaders can dive into the "Future of Ed Tech Administrator" track at the 2023 Future of Education Technology® Conference to learn how to achieve goals such as initiative planning and building leadership pipelines..

Since the pandemic, most chief information officers would tell you that they refuse to go back to normal… in the edtech sense. So the message to you, administrator, is: Hop on the train. We may be here a while.

“I had a board member tell me, ‘We don’t want to go back to normal,'” said Chief Information Technology and Accountability Officer for San Antonio ISD Dr. Kenneth J. Thompson in a previous interview with District Administration. “The pandemic caused us to rethink the way we did our work, our processes, the way we approached things, the whole nine yards. And out of that, I don’t care what anybody says, we brought some innovation, and we brought some efficiencies.”

This reliance on education technology shouldn’t be limited to our teachers and IT professionals. Administrators can utilize it to the fullest to achieve many great things for their schools and districts, such as building leadership pipelines, transforming teaching and learning, serving their community, and planning initiatives.

Thankfully, leaders won’t be alone in their journey to becoming tech-savvy administrators.

For more than 40 years, the Future of Education Technology® Conference has equipped education leaders with knowledge of the newest state-of-the-art technologies and best practices through the voices of those on the front lines of innovation.

And in January in New Orleans, school leaders can dive into the “Future of Ed Tech Administrator” track to learn how to achieve each of the previously listed goals. And the beauty lies in its accessibility.
