Transitioning to a Remote Teaching and Learning Environment

In step with districts around the country, Worcester Public Schools abruptly transitioned to remote learning because of the school closures due to COVID-19. Challenged with a large digital divide, this district is adapting and adjusting to meet the needs of students and families. Although barriers may exist, WPS has adopted promising practices that have emerged to support both online and offline aspects of remote learning.
