Powerful video shows the dangers of sexting and online bullying

 Austin, TX, June 6, 2019 – Impero Software, a specialist provider of remote monitoring and management software for education, has been named a Gold Winner in the 40th Annual Telly Awards for its “Chloe’s Story” video highlighting the dangers of sexting and bullying – and how schools can prevent harmful situations from escalating.

Impero Software created the “Chloe’s Story” video to bring attention to the online dangers of sexting and bullying and the important role online monitoring software plays in keeping students safe.

The video tells the story of “Chloe,” a (fictitious) teenage girl who sends explicit images to another student with his promise that he won’t share them with anyone else. But he does. The video is framed as if the viewer is looking at Chloe’s mobile phone. The story is told via the texts and photos that appear on the phones of Chloe and her classmates – and later on her instructor’s computer. It depicts the relentless cyberbullying that ensues and implies that Chloe commits suicide. Then it backtracks and shows how different that scenario could have been if Chloe’s school had used online monitoring software to alert her teachers of the cyberbullying.
