People Watch: Connecticut district chooses Howard J. Thiery III

Thiery, a 30-year public education veteran, is now superintendent of Region 10

Connecticut’s Region 10 Board of Education named Howard J. Thiery III as the new superintendent, replacing interim Superintendent Jeff Linton. For the past nine years, Thiery has been superintendent of Regional School District #17, also in the state. He is a 30-year public education veteran and has held various roles, including science teacher, high school principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent of schools. Read more.

In other people news:

Kadee Anstadt will now lead Ohio’s Washington Local Schools. Before being selected by the school board for the top spot, she served as assistant superintendent at Perrysburg Schools, also in the state. Read more.
