No medical cannabis at New Mexico schools despite new law

A new state law allows students who take medical cannabis to be treated at school. However, that is not happening.

A registered nurse at the front lines of this fight to get schools on board said there are hundreds of students across the state who need medical cannabis to treat things like epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain.

But right now, those kids and their parents are having to make other arrangements.
