Big Ideas Math

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt

For grades 6 through 12, the Big Ideas Math program uses a research-based balanced instructional approach that includes both discovery learning and direct instruction lessons. The program supports and enhances the multiple pathways available from sixth-grade mathematics through Algebra 2. MIND Research Institute

From the nonprofit organization MIND Research Institute, ST Math engages students’ spatial-temporal reasoning capabilities to help them understand and solve multi-step math problems.
