Ky. bill to outlaw ‘JUULing’ may be running out of time

“JUULing in school” – named after the JUUL brand of an electronic cigarette popular among kids – dominated two legislative meetings Thursday.

At one hearing, students from Johnson County Middle School warned lawmakers about the growing problem.

At another hearing, lawmakers advanced a bill to ban use of tobacco products at all public schools – driven largely by the growth in e-cigarette use among kids.
