FETC 2020 preview: Future of Ed Tech Coaches session track

This new session track will provide tools and strategies for ed tech coaches to use in schools and districts.

Districts and schools around the country are utilizing instructional technology coaches to mentor, train and model integration strategies and pedagogical best practices. At FETC 2020, a new session track will explore some of the newest instructional technologies and introduce personalized learning materials.

Track speakers will share engaging pedagogical methods, practical strategies to plan, integrate and manage technology in classrooms, including utilization of mobile devices, game based learning, maker and digital tools to foster creative and critical thinking. Presentations will address how online, flipped, blended, personalized and hybrid learning environments are used to promote high academic performance.

This track will also highlight ways to improve interactive communication, digital assessment, feedback, support, and content delivery. Educators will be introduced to transformative technologies including augmented and virtual reality, 3D printing, coding, robotics, applications and devices that prepare students for the future world of work. Coaches will learn how technology assists in increasing student achievement through systematic strategies to personalize and accelerate learning.
