DATV: How graduate profiles pave paths to the future
About 6 percent of students nationwide are “twice exceptional,” or 2e: They have high academic aptitude but struggle with ADHD, mild autism, dyslexia, or other learning and behavioral challenges. Parents say it’s often impossible to find schools to educate them. Now some are fighting to change that.
Virginia Tech hosted its second Science Olympiad Tournament, with over 200 high school students competing from schools in Virginia and Pennsylvania. The science tournament's aim is to improve students’ problem-solving skills, teamwork and understanding of STEM fields.
