The Florida school system launched a new program this school year intended to teach students more about life in construction. They gain real-world experience while learning how to use power tools, measuring and cutting, and meeting with contractors to learn more about the industry.

Oklahoma school district’s bond to improve security, construction

The Amber-Pocasset School District will have a $23.49 million proposition on the Feb. 12 ballot. The funds will go towards the construction of a new building for junior and high school students as well as extensive improvements to security.
