New distributor chosen for middle and high school math curriculum
Illustrative Mathematics is partnering with Kendall Hunt Publishing Company to be its exclusive distributor of its IM Certified digital curriculum. Kendall Hunt customers will have access to IM 6–8 Math as an open educational resource along with high school curriculum such as Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 Math courses.
Curriculum to combat serious concerns facing middle schoolers
The Digital Citizenship Curriculum for grades 6–8, available for free to all schools through the Common Sense Education platform, takes on the authentic concerns that students face in their lives, giving them the skills they need to succeed as digital learners and leaders. The concerns include sexting, tech addiction, cyberbullying and more.
New high school computer science curriculum launched
Carnegie Mellon University's free, online curriculum for high school students helps instructors teach programming skills using graphics and animations. Now being piloted in 40 schools, the Computer Science Academy's CS1 will be available for general use this fall, free of charge.

ECS Learning Systems' new STAAR MASTER Score Guarantee will ensure Texas teachers and schools see STAAR performance improvements year over year. The program initially supports grades 3 through 8 for reading and math using both the STAAR MASTER student practice books and practice tests.
Program focuses on teaching emotional skills
Emotional ABCs Classroom is a new social emotional learning curriculum for K3 teachers and elementary school counselors. The program consists of 20 sequential workshops to instruct students in four major areas, including self-awareness, social awareness, self-management and responsible decision making.
