After years of enrolling his children in Houston ISD, Tim Sinyak said he isn’t sure if they will stay, and it depends on how the rest of the school year goes. His two children attend Love Elementary in the Greater Heights area, the latest Houston school seeking a replacement after former principal Sean Tellez decided to leave the district last week.
Love Elementary has less than 400 students and is currently rated as a D-plus campus based on a January report released by state-appointed Superintendent Mike Miles. In the last five years, the northwest campus has seen a revolving door of administrators and campus leadership.
