Washington State University’s Cougs Rise initiative, has received an additional $120,000 in U.S. Department of Education grants to help create a summer STEM program for graduating high school students. Serving first-generation or low-income students from five high schools, Cougs Rise is specifically designed to increase their aptitude for STEM and integration in STEM courses.
