School Fuel helps teachers uncover, manage and distribute the best tools for learning. From the School Fuel administration console, educators populate app and resource libraries based on subject areas, grade levels and Common Core standards. Students then quickly access these apps, files, digital texts and links on nearly any device, including phones and tablets.

Farmington Municipal schools are blazing a new trail in the state of New Mexico with innovative technology that enables data analysis for the district at a whole new level with GuideK12, a web-based, geovisual analytic software solution. District leaders sought out an application to save them time and precious resources to support their district’s current and future planning needs.

The countdown is on, May 1 — known as National College Decision Day — is right around the corner, and students have only 30 days left to narrow down their choices and select a college that suits them academically, financially and personally.

The company’s web-based platform offers a digital curriculum and professional development platform for teachers, schools and districts implementing the Common Core State Standards. Developed by and for teachers, LearnZillion offers Common Core lessons, assessments, and activities created by top teachers from around the country.

The WebTeach. Classrooms in the Clouds. App includes interactive tools like a collaborative whiteboard, screen and web sharing, participant polling, word processing and video chat. All sessions can be video recorded and saved into a cloud library for future reference.

The launch of SCOREboard comes at an important time for U.S. high school students, who are increasingly taking AP courses as a cost-effective, efficient way to earn college credit. More than 950,000 U.S. public high school graduates took at least one AP Exam in 2012.

FCA’s approval is notable because the FLDOE has instituted rigorous new evaluation requirements to select providers based on legislation enacted over the past two years that are among the most comprehensive in the nation.

The conference—which will take place over two and a half days—will focus on the topic of teaching excellence and will have more than 150 sessions tailored for educators of all levels, including teachers, teacher leaders, principals, and district supervisors.

A program designed to address the need for off-campus Internet connectivity, FCPS students are able to borrow (or check out, similar to a library book) a Kajeet SmartSpot™, a portable Wi-Fi hotspot enabling access to school-approved, online resources outside the classroom.
