Seneca Falls school superintendent named

The Seneca Falls school district has announced that Jeramy Clingerman will be its new superintendent to replace longtime district leader Bob McKeveny, who retires June 30.

Clingerman, a lifelong Seneca County resident who currently lives in Waterloo, has been at the helm of the Marcus Whitman school district since 2013.

The school board meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Middle School library to officially vote on the five-year appointment. School board President Joe McNamara said Clingerman’s salary has not yet been determined and his contract is being negotiated.
