York County (Pa.) Students Receive State Awards

York County School of Technology students have been taking home awards at state-level competitions.

At the state SkillsUSA competition, which involved more than 1,100 students, 14 York County School of Technology students took either a first- or second-place win, according to a news release. Four students qualified for the national competition in June.

John Mackison, a junior, will compete in the national precision metal machining competition, and sophomores Paul Quinn, Kyle Snyder and Leandra Williams will compete in the national crime scene investigation competition.
